There are 3 products available in the Series E range for asbestos identification, comprising RI 1.550, RI 1.605 and RI 1.640. They are available in 3 volumes – 7.4 ml, 30 ml or 120 ml. Series E RI 1.640 is used in the identification of actinolite. Refractive indices are stated for Refractive Index liquids at 25°C, illuminated by 589.3 nm/5893 angstroms of sodium light.
