Cargille’s BK 7 glass Matching Liquid matches the refractive index, nD = 1.5167, and matches the refractive dispersion of BK 7 glass better than any other liquid. The liquid has long term stability and has moderately high viscosity ( similar to syrup and Cargille Immersion Oil Type B ) which helps to hold coupled components together during manipulation and assembly.

Its freezing point is < -9 and its boiling point is  Decomposes at 160°C
